The project Co-circulation temporarily circulated 52 visual indexical cards that drew images from SALT Research, Hüseyin Bahri Alptekin Archive.

Alptekin’s dispersed personal landscape -populated with clusters of books, objects and images mostly- gathered his friends and colleagues who intimately witnessed and collectively participated in the circulation and exchange of these materials. Beyond the seeming paraphernalia exoticism, the archive recalls concepts and topics Alptekin has dealt with such as game theory, circulation, heterotopia, intertextuality, appropriation, authorship and popular culture while also revealing insights on Alptekin’s entangled mental mapping of people, places, stories and how they end up cross-appropriated and circulated in his life and work.
