Ali Cindoruk focuses on interdisciplinary design that often combines experimentation, research, conceptual, functional and collective practices into one process. Prior to Istanbul, he has lived and worked in New York for 10+ years. His core practice generally involves identity programs, naming, positioning, communication, product and environmental design, wayfinding, exhibition design and art projects. He has been a participant at local and international workshops and exhibitions. Ali’s work has been recognized by awards and featured in publications in the US, Europe and Japan. A 1989 graduate of Industrial Design Department from METU, Ankara, he completed his masters degree in 1993 in graphic design at Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey.
